10 Good Reasons Why You Should Include Olives And Olive Oil In Your Diet

Even though more attention is usually given to their delicious oil than the whole food itself, olives are one of the world’s most widely enjoyed fruits. Yes, they are fruits even though most of us think of them as zest vegetables.

Olive oil is oil that is pressed from olives, the fruits of the olive tree.But there is still one major problem with olive oil… it isn’t always what you think it is. Some lower quality versions can be extracted using chemicals, or even diluted with other cheaper oils.


Olives do not contain a lot of calories, but are therefore rich in iron, copper, vitamin E and physiochemical that protect the body. The therapy uses oil, leaves and fruits. Excellent against constipation and high blood pressure, pain in the ears, seizures bile, cough and hoarseness, also good for digestion.


Olives also have mono unsaturated fats that encourage weight loss, while olive oil, when taken in moderation, is known to breakdown the fat inside cells, which gets rid of unwanted stomach fat and reduces sensitivity to insulin, also preventing type 2 diabetes. It is also said that the aroma extracts from olive oil makes us more satiated, cutting calorie intake to about a whopping 200 a day!

FOR THE PAIN IN THE EARS


Soak a piece of gauze or some cotton with warm olive oil and place in the ear which hurts. Repeat several consecutive days.

EYE HEALTH


One cup of olives contains 10 percent of the recommended daily value of vitamin A, which is essential for healthy eyes and allows improved night vision. It works against cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and other eye diseases associated with aging.AGAINST CONSTIPATION


In the morning before breakfast take 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil. For children give one tablespoon of olive oil in the morning before eating.

TO EJECT STONES FROM BILE


For around three to five days before bed take two tablespoons of olive oil.

FOR REDUCING PAIN DURING EXPULSION OF STONE AND SAND WHILE URINATING


Five days before breakfast, lunch and dinner, take one spoon of unrefined olive oil,  you can also add a small amount of chopped parsley.

FOR BETTER DIGESTION


Every morning before breakfast, take one tablespoon of olive oil.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE


In 300 ml of water boil 20 olive leaves until the water is reduced by one third ( 200 ml). Then let it cool down, strain, sweeten and drink warm twice a day, before breakfast and dinner, or a teaspoon of olive oil four times a day.

AFTER MYOCARDIAL


Mixture of two tablespoons of chopped olive leafs, tablespoon mint leaves and lavender flowers pour in 700 ml of boiling water. Leave it for about two hours, strain and drink 100 ml every hour.

COUGH SORE THROAT AND HOARSENESS


Three times a day take one tablespoon of olive oil until coughing, hoarseness and inflammation are gone.

AGAINST LUNG DISEASE


Make a mixture of 250 g of olive oil, 250 g sugar cubes and 250 g lemon juice. Leave it for a day or two and take two tablespoons before eating for few days.
